A 7-Day India Tour โ€”
three cities, seven sacred sites

01

Govardhan

Uttar Pradesh ยท Sacred hill town of the Braj region

The sacred hill Krishna lifted to shelter his devotees โ€” one of the most powerful sites of pilgrimage in the entire Braj region.
Govardhan Hill Sacred Hill

Govardhan Hill

A 21 km sacred hill revered as a manifestation of Krishna himself. Pilgrims perform the parikrama โ€” a barefoot circumambulation โ€” as one of the most spiritually significant acts in the Vaishnava tradition.

Direct contact with one of the oldest living pilgrimage circuits in India. The energy and devotion of millions of practitioners is palpable at every step.
Dana-Ghati Temple Temple

Dana-Ghati Temple

One of the most revered temples along the parikrama route, dedicated to the moment Krishna playfully asked for a "toll" (dana) from the gopis. An active center of devotional chanting and ritual.

Experience authentic living bhakti tradition โ€” not a museum, but a place of daily worship unchanged for centuries.
Shailendra Sharma's Siddha-Siddhanta Yoga Academy Practice

Shailendra Sharma's Siddha-Siddhanta Yoga Academy

A rare teaching lineage rooted in the Nath sampradaya. Shailendra Sharma is one of the foremost living masters of the Siddha-Siddhanta system โ€” a path that unifies yoga, tantra and devotion.

Direct transmission from a living master in the tradition's homeland โ€” an opportunity simply not available outside India.
02

Vrindavan

Uttar Pradesh ยท The eternal forest of Krishna's childhood

The forest town where Krishna spent his childhood โ€” every lane here carries centuries of bhakti devotion and sacred memory.
Shri Devrahas Baba Ghat Sacred Ghat

Shri Devrahas Baba Ghat

A riverside ghat on the sacred Yamuna, named after the legendary saint Devrahas Baba. A place of deep stillness, sunrise rituals and aarti ceremonies on the water.

Sitting at the Yamuna at dawn in Vrindavan is one of those experiences that shifts something permanently. Pure silence, pure presence.
Prem Mandir Temple

Prem Mandir

A breathtaking white marble temple dedicated to divine love (prema). Intricate carvings depict the eternal play of Radha-Krishna. At night, the temple is illuminated in shifting colors โ€” an unforgettable sight.

A living example of how devotion continues to build sacred space in the 21st century. The scale and detail must be seen in person.
03

Agra

Uttar Pradesh ยท Heart of the Mughal Empire

The jewel of the Mughal Empire โ€” where art, devotion and power converged to create monuments that still stop time.
Taj Mahal UNESCO Monument

Taj Mahal

Built 1632โ€“1653 by Emperor Shah Jahan as an eternal tribute to his wife. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, considered one of humanity's greatest architectural achievements. We visit at sunrise โ€” before the crowds, in full morning light.

No photograph prepares you for the scale and perfection of the Taj in person. A once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
Agra Fort UNESCO Fort

Agra Fort

A massive 16th-century red sandstone citadel โ€” the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Housing palaces, mosques and audience halls with a direct sightline to the Taj Mahal across the river.

To understand the Taj, you need to understand the Empire. The Fort reveals the full context of Mughal civilization at its peak.

The teachers whose
world we enter

Shailendra Sharma
Living Master ยท Personal Meeting

Shailendra Sharma

Master of Siddha-Siddhanta Yoga
Nath Sampradaya ยท Govardhan

Shailendra Sharma is one of the foremost living masters of the Siddha-Siddhanta system โ€” an ancient yogic lineage rooted in the Nath tradition, which integrates hatha yoga, tantra, and devotional practice into a single unified path.

He runs his Academy at the foot of Govardhan Hill, where he teaches a small number of serious students. His teaching is direct, practical, and grounded โ€” rare in a world of commercialized yoga.

We visit his Academy in Govardhan on Days 2โ€“3. A practice session and Q&A with Shailendra Sharma is included in the tour.
Devraha Baba
Legendary Saint ยท Sacred Site

Devrahas Baba

Siddha Yogi & Saint
Vrindavan ยท 1889 โ€“ 1990

Devrahas Baba was one of the most revered saints of 20th-century India, known for his extraordinary longevity โ€” oral tradition credits him with living over 250 years. He spent decades meditating on the banks of the Yamuna in Vrindavan, attracting devotees from across India including presidents and prime ministers.

He embodied the path of pure bhakti โ€” unconditional love and surrender โ€” and was known for his ability to transmit inner stillness to anyone who came into his presence. The ghat on the Yamuna bears his name to this day.

We visit Devrahas Baba Ghat in Vrindavan on Days 4โ€“5. Morning aarti ceremony on the Yamuna riverbank at the site where he meditated for decades.
Spiritual places to visit in India

"India is not visited โ€” it is experienced from the inside. Every place here is a mirror."

More than a yoga retreat
in India โ€” a living journey

01

Access to closed practices

The Siddha-Siddhanta Yoga Academy with Shailendra Sharma offers teachings simply not available to ordinary visitors.

02

Guides with deep tradition knowledge

Every site is revealed in its spiritual context โ€” not as an architectural landmark, but as a living place of practice.

03

Zero logistics stress

Hotels, transport, entries โ€” all pre-arranged. Your only job is to show up fully present.

04

Small, intentional group

No large buses, no rushing. A carefully sized group from Canada for a genuine shared experience.
