About Retreat

Silent Meditation, Yoga Practice & Sound Healing Retreat

Mauna (Vipassana) is an ancient meditation practice that cultivates deep self-awareness by observing the natural flow of breath and bodily sensations. Through this awareness, the mind becomes clear, calm, and balanced.

At Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre (Cochrane, Alberta), the peaceful environment and gentle rhythm of the days support the essence of Vipassana — turning inward and resting in silence.

This weekend retreat offers a complete immersion in stillness, helping you disconnect from external noise and reconnect with your inner world.
