About Retreat
Silent Meditation, Yoga Practice & Sound Healing Retreat
Mauna (Vipassana) is an ancient meditation practice that cultivates deep self-awareness by observing the natural flow of breath and bodily sensations. Through this awareness, the mind becomes clear, calm, and balanced.
At Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre (Cochrane, Alberta), the peaceful environment and gentle rhythm of the days support the essence of Vipassana β turning inward and resting in silence.
This weekend retreat offers a complete immersion in stillness, helping you disconnect from external noise and reconnect with your inner world.
Through meditation, mindful yoga, conscious breathing, and the resonance of Tibetan Singing Bowls, youβll gradually realign with your natural rhythm. Nourishing meals and serene surroundings foster a profound sense of clarity, peace, and renewal.
